lens (photographic lens) - captures light for the photographer to see and focuses on the subject
focus - adjust the range of the subject to see clearly
rangefinder camera - measures the distance from photographer to target or subject
movie camera - a camera that takes multiple pictures a second to create a sequence of pictures

aperture - a opening where light travels through a camera
shutter - a shutter allows light to travel through an aperture at a determined period of time
exposure - the amount of light traveling through the aperture
depth of field - where the lens focuses to allow a sharper picture
f-stop - how aperture is measured; size of aperture enables you to focus on a wide range or a short range of targets.
focal length - measures how strong the system converges or diverges
