Academic Shoot Reflection
1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get the photos following the rules I set out for you?
I found out that some of the rules are harder than you think, you may know all the rules but when you get to shoot, you don't know how to implement them into the picture in a school setting.
2. What technical aspects of photography or the assignment in general (focus, framing, holding the camera, etc.) did you find yourself thinking about the most? Provide a specific example of what you did to do this correctly.

When I was taking pictures, I ran into an issue with my camera, I found it hard to focus. I would focus the picture manually with the lens, and then I would use the auto focus by pressing the camera half way, but when I got back and looked at my photos on the Mac, most of them were blurry.
3. If you could do the assignment again, what would you do differently now that you know some basic rules of photography?

Next time when I shoot I
will make sure to take my time when taking photos, I will take multiple
photos of the same subject instead of one. I will defiantly implement some of the rules more effectively.
4. What things would you do the same?
I will still hold the camera the same, I think that's the only think I did correctly in this shoot, I have way more than I think to improve on.
5. When you go out with your next set of prompts, which rule do you think will be the easiest to achieve?
5. When you go out with your next set of prompts, which rule do you think will be the easiest to achieve?
The easiest rule for me is probably rule of thirds, simplicity, or balance, those seem the easiest to me.
6. Which rule do you think will be the hardest to capture?
6. Which rule do you think will be the hardest to capture?
The hardest rule for me is either lines or framing. These seem to be almost impossible to me while we are in a school setting. I still have a lot to learn.
7. What rule are you still not totally clear on and what can you do to figure out what that rule is?

Framing and avoiding mergers seem to be slightly complicated to me, I will go back and read about them again.
