Best Photos
I find it hard to believe that this picture isn't photoshoped, but if it's not...this is a one in a million photo.
This picture is really cool, I would never have thought that someone could take a picture like this.
Best Song
The best song this year was by far Kanye West (and some of this G.O.O.D friends) - Mercy. I've never heard a song with so many featured people where each one of them kill it. For a guy that is always looked as evil or cocky, you can't hate on his music. Kanye puts so much effort into his music it's hard to hate what he does. Only one person comes to my mind when I think of the greatest musician of my generation and nobody comes close.
Best Movie
I didn't really watch a whole lot of movies this year, but a movie that made me laugh was 21 Jump Street, usually I don't find most comedy movies funny, the jokes are plain and boring. But, 21 Jump Street definitely made me laugh, there were jokes purposely put in the movie to make high school kids laugh.
"Best" Story
I don't consider any news in the media "good" news. It's all bad. The worst story of the year was the Sandy Hook shooting. It was horrific to think of first graders being murdered. But what really disgusted me was how the media really milked the story to push gun control. The media used many false claims about guns that just aren't true. It's really sad that superintendents and principles get paid double the salary of teachers to push papers. Instead of having four different superintendents in a city, why don't we have one big school district, get rid of some superintendents to pay for some security, locks, more security guards, anything! Kind of sounding like a rant so I'll stop.
Important Person
I believe the important people are the ones that don't get credit. If I had to name the most important person I would just say Kanye West, he provided me with some good music to listen to. He didn't really have the greatest impact, but like I said, the most important people are the ones that don't get credit.
Sports Person
It'd be hard to pick between Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson, and Adrian Peterson. Peyton Manning had an amazing season coming back from all those neck surgeries. Calvin Johnson broke a Jerry Rice record....a JERRY RICE record, I thought all of Jerry's records were untouchable! Adrian Peterson, he got so close to a record that hasn't been touched in decades, since 1984 I believe. Any of them could be the sports person of the year.
